1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and understand how you use the site. Roadmapr uses cookies responsibly and only where necessary.

2. How We Use Cookies

Roadmapr uses a minimal set of cookies. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking technologies. The public-facing roadmap (your users' view) uses zero cookies except a single session cookie if a user logs in to vote.

5. Analytics Cookies

We use Vercel Speed Insights for performance monitoring. This is privacy-preserving and does not use cookies to track individual users across sessions. No personal data is sent to third-party analytics services. We do not use Google Analytics.

6. Managing Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to: view cookies stored, delete all cookies, block cookies from specific sites, or block all third-party cookies. Note that disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in to Roadmapr.

7. Public Roadmap & Your Users

Your public Roadmapr page (the one your users visit) uses no cookies for anonymous visitors. A session cookie is only set if a user clicks "Vote" and authenticates. This means you do not need to show a cookie banner to anonymous roadmap visitors.
